Together with supplier PUMA, Borussia Dortmund have unveiled the new cup shirt for the 2023/24 season during the USA Tour. The shirt was presented at the “High Roller” Ferris wheel in Las Vegas.

Borussia Dortmund departed from San Diego, California on Saturday and flew to Las Vegas (Nevada), where the first highlight on the agenda took place in the evening: the presentation of the cup shirt, which the players will wear in the UEFA Champions League and the DFB-Pokal throughout the 2023/24 season. The presentation took place at the High Roller in Las Vegas, which is the second-largest Ferris wheel in the world with a height of over 167 metres and a diameter of 159 metres.

Even the entrance area was decked out in yellow. The shirt unveiling took place under the Ferris wheel with players Gregor Kobel, Sebastien Haller, Ramy Bensebaini, Marius Wolf, Youssoufa Moukoko, Donyell Malen, Emre Can, Karim Adeyemi and Giovanni Reyna, who received the largest applause from the guests in attendance, running in wearing the kit. The players subsequently took time to fulfil selfie and autograph requests.

In the coming season, the players will line up in the cup competitions with a striking retro-futuristic design. PUMA took inspiration from the City of Dortmund, which combines tradition and innovation, in the design process. Once known as the city of steel, it became a symbol of enduring strength and resilience. The new cup jersey pays tribute to this heritage and simultaneously looks ahead to the future.

The players took a ride in the Ferris wheel, which was lit up in yellow, and enjoyed the view of Las Vegas at night-time after the presentation.

The players will wear the shirt for the first time in the friendly against Manchester United on Sunday (18:00 local time, Monday at 3:00 CET). BVB TV by 1&1 will broadcast the match live.

The new cup shirt will be available from BVB Fan Shops and the BVB Online Shop from Monday (31/07).
