The President of the Israeli Football Association, or IFA for short, Moshe Shino Zuares, has written to Hans-Joachim Watzke, the Chairman of the BVB Board of Management, to thank Borussia Dortmund for their show of support and solidarity with Israel after the Hamas terrorist attacks.

The letter to Hans-Joachim Watzke in English:

Dear Friend,

On behalf of the Israel FA and the citizens of Israel, I would like to thank you for your support, standing by our side in these moments warms the heart and gives us a boost in the restoration efforts.

I am touched by the inflow of support and the gesture made for the state of Israel during your clubs match on Friday vs. Werder Bremen.

The price of blood paid by the state of Israel and its citizens following the barbaric, heinous and inhumane attack is unfathomable.

We are pained by the murder of more than 1300 civilians, over 199 were kidnapped and the wounding of thousands, we are fighting to eradicate an enemy that humanity has yet not met.

Your support is not obvious, we discovered true friends in this difficult time. Friends are measured in these moments exactly.

I would appreciate if you share this letter with the fans organization, of course that our appreciation and thanks are for them as well.

For our sake, for every human being in the world, WE WILL WIN!

Sincerely Yours,

Moshe Shino Zuares, President
