Florian Wirtz has emerged as Bayern Munich’s prime target for 2025, after extending his stay at Bayer Leverkusen for another season, reports Sky Sport Deutschland.
The 20-year-old midfielder has been a stand-out performer in Xabi Alonso’s side’s Bundesliga-winning campaign, with 17 goals and 19 assists across all competitions. His performances are attracting interest from Europe’s elite, including Real Madrid, Manchester City and Liverpool.

However, Wirtz, who made the move to Leverkusen at the beginning of 2020 from the youth setup of FC Cologne, is expected to stay with the Bundesliga champions for another season.
The hierarchy at the Bavarian club is eagerly anticipating a move next summer, and their chances of securing the Germany international’s signature are promising, with the player and his family seeing the club as a crucial step before potentially moving abroad in the future.

– Brighton are set to make another bid for Leicester City’s Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, reports Football Insider. Despite the Foxes rejecting the Seagulls’ approach in January, Roberto de Zerbi’s side are optimistic in securing a deal for the 25-year-old midfielder, who has 12 goals and 14 assists in 43 appearances in the EFL Championship this season. With the club’s initial valuation of over £40m for Dewsbury-Hall, Leicester may be forced to part ways with one of their best players for closer to £30m this summer due to their current financial situation, reporting losses amounting to £90m.
