Emotional meeting with VfL captain
The fourth Maximilian Arnold Wölfe Camp was held from Thursday to Sunday at the Haus am Bernsteinsee, where young cancer sufferers and their families were able to enjoy some peace and quiet at the lake’s recreation area and a fun-filled few days with VfL Wolfsburg. Patron Maximilian Arnold learned out about the camp in 2018 and has since made a point of attending the annual opening on Thursday evening.

An early own goal leads to Werder defeat in Frankfurt
Werder Bremen suffered their second defeat in a row. The Green-Whites were beaten 2-0 (1-0) by Eintracht Frankfurt, who are in the last sixteen of the Champions League, in front of 48,000 spectators. Thanks to special rules: VfL sign Ordets
VfL Bochum 1848 has signed Ukrainian international Ivan Ordets on a one-year deal. This is made possible thanks to special rules adopted by FIFA as a result of the war in Ukraine. According to them, the contracts of foreign professionals playing in Russia may be suspended until 30/06/2023. Ivan Ordets has been playing for Russian Premier League club Dinamo Moscow since 2019.
