Since Thursday, several U23 players have been with Edin Terzic’s first-team squad. This season’s Christmas break is short; FCA will host current league leaders Bayer 04 Leverkusen on Saturday, 13th January (15:30 CET). FCA will return to training on Tuesday, 2nd January in order to start preparing for a successful second half to the season.

An unsurprising sentiment given that it was the Blue & Whites’ first home victory since beating Bayer 04 Leverkusen 3-0 – a result which saw Bochum escape the clutches of relegation on the final matchday of last season.
