One player Tuchel has been paying special attention to is Leroy Sané. Tuchel has been rumored to be observing the German attacker since his Manchester City days. Sané has been playing centrally under Nagelsmann, however, the new coach plans to implement Sané as a winger where he can improve.

The DFL has scheduled eight matchdays shortly before Christmas. That includes five TSG Hoffenheim home games – of which two will be played on Saturdays and three will take place on Sundays. The Black & Yellows’ best chance before the break came in the 43rd minute, as Michael Eberwein played in Falko Michel, who was unable to finish past the keeper. 

Like teammate Joshua Kimmich, he knows that the inconsistencies in game performances (good vs PSG, bad vs Leverkusen) contributed to a change of guard at the helm. “We had great games like PSG followed by average ones like Leverkusen. That cannot happen at FC Bayern. We all here have to do better,” Goretzka said.
