For Germany’s trip to North America, the new national coach Julian Nagelsmann has nominated two Union players. In addition to Robin Gosens, who has already made 18 appearances for Germany and took part in the 2021 European Championships, Kevin Behrens has also been called up to the DFB team for the first time. The striker has been under contract with Union since 2021 and has been one of the key players in Urs Fischer’s team in recent years.
