Bartosz Bialek has agreed to join Dutch top-flight side Vitesse Arnhem on loan. The Polish forward will lace his boots for the team currently occupying 16th place in the Eredivisie until 30 June 2023. Bialek joined VfL in summer 2020 from Zaglebie Lubin and has so far scored two goals in 36 competitive outings for the Wolves.

Niclas Füllkrug’s late header gave Werder victory in what had been a tight and cagey affair. “It was a good and mature performance. The goal was the only difference between two very even teams,” explained head coach Ole Werner after the game.
