Jordan suffers muscular adductor injury
Jordan suffered a muscular injury to his adductor in the away game against SC Freiburg yesterday. The striker will be out for the time being.
Jordan had played a decisive role in the Foals coming back from 1-0 down to go 3-1 up in Freiburg. He scored the equalising goal with a header, for the goal to make it 2-1 he cleverly crossed the path of goalscorer, Alassane Plea, to give him some space, before then winning the penalty which Julian Weigl converted to make it 3-1 after being fouled by Philipp Lienhart. It was in this incident that Jordan was injured. He played on for a small amount of time but then had to be substituted in the 43rd minute.
Detailed medical tests this Sunday morning had revealed that he has a muscular injury to his adductor and will not be available for Borussia for the time being. The 27-year-old joined Borussia on loan from Union Berlin in the summer. In his eleven competitive games to date, he has scored four goals and registered a further two assists.
