On Monday 10 July, the VfL coaching team will welcome the Wolves players back onto the training pitch for the first time since the summer break. The squad will undergo performance tests from 10:00 CEST, with the first session of pre-season being streamed live on Wölfe TV.
The VfL squad will take to the training pitch in reduced numbers, with the four players selected for international duty at the U21 European Championship still unavailable on Monday. Apart from Micky van de Ven, Bartol Franjic, Aster Vranckx and Kilian Fischer, the Wolves will also be without Vaclav Cerny and Jakub Kaminski until 14 July. VfL’s first game of pre-season takes place at 15:00 CEST on Saturday 15 July, when Niko Kovac’s troops face a Beck’s XI in the AZ/WAZ friendly match.
