Further dates confirmed for pre-season

During their summer training camp in Tegernsee, the Foals will play a friendly against FC Ingolstadt on Wednesday 26th July. To conclude the week the team will then take part in a tournament at Sportpark Heimstetten in Munich.

The 2023/24 season is already looming ahead of us. Further dates are now confirmed for the Foals’ pre-season. The friendly against 1. FC Saarbrücken will take place on Saturday, 22nd July (15:00 CEST). Directly following this, the Foals travel for a training camp in Tegernsee (23th – 29th July). The first training session at the Stadion am Birkenmoos in Rottach-Egern will take place that Sunday (16:30 CEST).

During their summer training camp in Tegernsee, on Wednesday 26th July, Borussia will take on third division side FC Ingolstadt in a friendly. Kick off at the Stadion am Birkenmoos in Rottach-Egern will be at 18:00 CEST.

To conclude the week-long training camp, the Foals will then take part in a tournament at Sportpark Heimstetten in Munich on 29th July. The team will then make the journey back to Mönchengladbach from there that evening.

One week later, there will be a start of the season event at BORUSSIA-PARK on Saturday, 5th August and Sunday, 6th August, presented by flatexDEGIRO AG. As part of this, the Foals will play a friendly against Ligue 1 side HSC Montpellier (Saturday, 5th August, 15:30 CEST).

The first competitive game of the new season is on Friday, 11th August (18:00 CEST), as Borussia travel to Osnabrück to play Oberliga side TuS Bersenbrück in the first round of the DFB-Pokal. One week later, the Bundesliga season will start. The fixture list for this will be announced by the DFL on Friday.
