VfB Stuttgart will expand its partner pool to include Porsche and MHP. The parties have agreed on a corresponding statement of principles. VfB and Porsche are examining an investment by Porsche in VfB Stuttgart 1893 AG, while Mercedes-Benz will remain with VfB as an anchor investor and sponsor.

The 25-year-old goalkeeper made 49 Bundesliga appearances for VfB over the last two seasons and also started both legs of the successful relegation play-off against Hamburger SV.

The VfB squad will travel to England for a pre-season friendly.

Centre-back Matej Maglica is rejoining VfB Stuttgart from FC St. Gallen. VfB are using the buy-back option that was agreed when the 24-year-old moved to Switzerland.

As part of the internationalisation strategy of VfB and the German Football League (DFL), the U11 team are taking part in a tournament in Kanagawa at the end of June.
