Three Werder players back in team training

Ole Werner can look forward to some players returning as the training week begins ahead of the home game against TSG 1899 Hoffenheim. Head of scouting and profession football, Clemens Fritz, announced on Tuesday morning (28/3) that Milos Veljkovic (muscular problems), Mitchell Weiser (work load) and Michael Zetterer (illness) would return to team training.

St. Gallen currently sit in third place in the Swiss Super League. Both sides completed their winter preparations in Algorfa, Spain, in January, and will now meet for a friendly. The match will kick off at 14:00 CET and will unfortunately have to take place without fans present for organisational reasons. The exact venue will be determined nearer the time.

Mane was quick to reply that it would have been better with Lewy also in Munich alongside him in the Bayern squad. Michael Gregoritsch did not travel to Bremen due to a knock, with Roland Sallai replacing him in the starting XI. Lukas Kübler also came into the side for Kiliann Sildillia. SC began in a 3-4-3, with Vincenzo Grifo, Lucas Höler and Sallai in attack.

Daishawn Redan departs Hertha BSC

The club have terminated Daishawn Redan’s loan to FC Utrecht, which had been in place since the summer, instead agreeing an immediate transfer to Venezia FC for the 21-year-old striker. “This is the good solution for all parties. We wish Daishawn all the best for the future,” said sporting director Benjamin Weber.

Myziane Maolida leaves Hertha BSC on loan

Alongside the announcement of new signing Tolga Ciğerci, there was also one outgoing for the ‘Old Lady’ on the last day of the transfer window – at least until the summer. Myziane Maolida has moved on loan to French team Stade Reims until the end of the season. “The chance came up for Myziane to move back to his homeland and to be able to gain minutes there playing in the French first division. We wish him all the best,” said sporting director Benjamin Weber about the transfer on Tuesday.

I’m looking forward to the weekend and think it’ll be a special occasion for everyone in the region, myself especially,” said the goalkeeper.
