The hosts, DFB-Pokal winners from 2010, are among the championship favourites in the A-Juniors Bundesliga South/Southwest. The team under coach Tobias Nubbemeyer, who was still successfully managing the U17s of Hombrucher SV six years ago, have started the season with two wins (5-2 in Heidenheim, 4-2 at home to Karlsruhe SC) and two defeats (2-1 losses against Eintracht Frankfurt and 1860 Munich). “Hoffenheim could have won both of those games. They were very unlucky,” said Tullberg after meticulous video analysis. He is particularly impressed by the offensive talents at TSG, including Max Moerstedt, who was part of Germany’s U17 European Championship winning team, and U17 international Joan Tiago Esteban Poller.

Anthony Jung will remain a Green-White after a clause was triggered to extend his contract, which was caused by the defender making a particular number of appearances for the club.
Here is what we know:
Hollerbach was not even five years old in 2006 when he took his first steps on a pitch with a ball at his feet. He gained his first footballing experiences in the G-youth of his hometown club TSV Tutzing on the shores of Lake Starnberg before moving a little further north to TSV 1860 München in the summer of 2010. Four years later his next move followed, but this time it was only a short step to the youth department of FC Bayern München, who had taken notice of the then 13-year-old.
The newly promoted side caught the eye with a 0-0 away draw at 1. FC Cologne last time out. “Waltrop are not opponents you can simply brush aside. This will be a game that requires patience,” said Lehmann, who expects his team to perform with similar levels of concentration as they showed in the 4-0 win against Arminia Bielefeld: “We must not allow them any set-piece situations and we have to find creative solutions again in order to carve out chances against opponents sitting deep.”
He has made a total of 26 appearances across all competitions for Bayern this season, but only four of those have been starts. For the rest, he’s been used as a substitute, which isn’t exactly the role he signed for when he agreed to make the move from Ajax to Bayern over the summer.

The Vesperkirche, a Stuttgart institution, has symbolised solidarity and community for 30 years. Every year, the Leonhardskirche opens its doors during the cold winter months to offer those in need a warm meal and a sympathetic ear.
