Two friendlies to close out the season

After their final Bundesliga game against VfL Bochum (18.05.2024), SV Werder Bremen will face off against two local teams in friendly matches to round the season off. The Green-Whites will take on BV Garrel on Wednesday, 22nd May, with kick-off at the Goldschmaus-Stadion scheduled for 18:30 CEST.

SV Werder Bremen have finally put an end to a poor run of form thanks to two wins on the trot. “The performances weren’t bad in the other games,” stressed Milos Veljkovic in the Mixed Zone on Tuesday, before adding, “The important thing was that we focused on ourselves, kept persisting with our style of play and were more efficient at both ends of the pitch. That’s why the past couple of games have both gone our way.”

BVB’s first VBL home game in the club’s history kicked off at 17:30 CET in front of around 75 spectators in the SIGNAL IDUNA GAMING PARK.
