Travel information for the game against Bochum

Due to the expected number of spectators at the stadium and the high volume of traffic, TSG Hoffenheim recommend travelling early and using public transport. Additional buses will be running to the PreZero Arena on Saturday. A shuttle service, which will run every 15 minutes, will take visitors from Sinsheim/Elsenz railway station (from the bus stop on the side facing the railway tracks) to the stadium (Sinsheim-Süd industrial estate, opposite AVR) and back again. A shuttle service has also been organised on various routes to take visitors directly to the stadium from towns in the surrounding area.

Bischof scores for the Germany U20s

Tom Bischof made his first appearance for the Germany U20 national team on Friday, and the TSG midfielder celebrated his first goal only four days later: the 18-year-old scored the goal that made it 4-0 in the 5-0 victory against the Ghana U20s. Bischof made the starting line-up and was only substituted off shortly before the end.

Bischof: “I’ve become more mature”

Tom Bischof has used the start of the season to play himself into the spotlight at TSG. But the situation was often different last season, when the youngster only racked up 171 minutes for the first team – not enough for the junior international. “I struggled with that. I’m still young but I’m also very ambitious – I therefore don’t see myself as a classic substitute. I still need more time to find my feet, to have my moments and to show: I can help the team. But I unfortunately did not always get playing time and then did not always take my chances either – so I definitely have to be very self-critical in retrospect.”

More than just football training

Since 2011, the TSG football school has been thrilling many young football players in the region. It not only offers young footballers professional training, but also gives all children and young people their very own access to the world of TSG Hoffenheim. Be it beginners or advanced players, girls or boys, outfield players or goalkeepers – at the TSG football school, it’s all about the children. They are the starting point for everything we come up in terms of sporting and organisational ideas and offerings – the steadily increasing numbers of participants are testament to that, and a new record was set once again this year.

Deserved reward for strong performances

There are now only 21 players ahead of him. Oliver Baumann has now made 467 Bundesliga appearances, recently overtaking icons Lothar Matthäus and Toni Schumacher in the Bundesliga’s all-time appearance ranking. He will move into the top 20 in the coming weeks. The goalkeeper, who moved to TSG in the summer of 2014 and has been a consistent performer for Hoffenheim for 10 years, has long since been part of an elite circle.
