The enormously important 2-1 victory in Bremen from the night before was still fresh and front of mind as the players gathered in Zuzenhausen for a warm-down in optimal weather conditions. Easy to predict, difficult to stop

After Werder Bremen’s 2-1 victory at TSG Hoffenheim in the reverse fixture, many fans on the Weser were hoping for a return to Europe.
