Liverpool have struck a deal with Nice midfielder Khephren Thuram according to the latest reports as Jurgen Klopp looks to secure his second summer signing.
Fresh off signing Brighton’s Alexis Mac Allister, Liverpool are already working hard on their next deal.
The addition of Mac Allister will give the Reds a much-needed boost in midfield, but Klopp is keen to sign another player in this position.
and according to the latest reports, Liverpool are already in advanced talks.
According to Football Transfers, the French midfielder has ‘verbally agreed to personal terms’ with Liverpool.
The clubs are now in discussions over a transfer fee as Nice are looking to secure as much money as possible for one of their prized assets.
Thuram is contracted with the French club until 2025 and so they are in a strong position to negotiate his price.
It is believed that the 22-year-old has a price tag of £55m, which Nice are determined to get as a lump sum.

A deal for Thuram would be a big boost for Liverpool heading into next season and an indicator of their ambition.
The Nice midfielder featured in 35 Ligue 1 matches this season and scored two goals and provided four assists.
He does some of his best work out of possession though, winning an average of 1.5 tackles per game.
“Khephren’s fantastic,” explained Didier Digard. “He’s very hardworking, very attentive.
“On rest days he’s at the training centre. He recovers quickly for back-to-back matches and completes high-intensity training.
“He listens and applies himself. He has room for improvement and he’s in demand. He simply eats up video analysis, additional sessions.
“He also advises others, because he takes on a leadership role. He’s also discovering himself as a person.”
Liverpool fans will be keen to see Thuram in action and provided the negotiations run smoothly, the Reds are in a strong position to land his signature.
Klopp hasn’t been messing around in the transfer market so far as he is keen to get back to the top of the Premier League.
