On Tuesday, BVB will face AC Milan at the Giuseppe-Meazza stadium. Around 4500 BVB fans will be there to support the team inside the stadium. Kick-off is at 21:00 CET. We recommend that all BVB fans travelling with us read the fan information summarised below ahead of the trip in order to avoid potential problems on match day.
Getting to the stadium
Arriving by car and bus:
The away fans’ car park will be open from 08:00 CET on the day of the match. The car park, which can be used by buses and cars, can be accessed via the Via Federico Tesio. Access to the car park is free of charge.
Arriving by public transport:
From the “Milano Porta Garibaldi” station, you can take the M5 metro (purple line) in the direction of San Siro to the stop “San Siro”. The metro journey takes only 15 minutes. From there, it is only a few minutes’ walk to the away fans’ entrance.
Meeting point
The Milan police recommend the “Arco della Pace” as a meeting point from 17:00 CET. From there, you can take the metro to the stadium after a short walk.
Admission to the stadium
The stadium will open 120 minutes before kick-off.
- Please note that the tickets are personalised and the name on the tickets will be checked against your ID, so please bring a valid ID with you.
- The away fans’ section can be accessed via the away car park on Via Federico Tesio. Please note that access will only be granted upon presentation of a valid ticket. The first checks will also take place in the car park.
- Then you can enter the stadium through Gate 6.
- BVB fans will be seated in blocks 343-348, 350 and 353-360.
- Please note that away fans are not permitted to loiter in the home areas
The following fan merchandise is allowed:
- 3 drums (already allocated)
- 3 megaphones (already allocated)
- Fence flags
- Small flags
Please note that fence flags and small flags will be checked at the entrance.
The following are not permitted:
- Two-poled banners
- Pyrotechnics
Permitted items:
- Bags and backpacks up to A4 size
Prohibited items:
- Bags and backpacks over size A4
- Cameras and photo equipment
- Power bank chargers
- Bottles and cans of any kind
- Full-length stick umbrellas
There is no drop-off point for bags and backpacks at the stadium.
Inside the stadium
- The away blocks in the stadium are located in the Third Tier – Green Section.
- As is customary in European games, the unwritten rule of free choice of seats applies within blocks of seats. So if the space indicated on your ticket is occupied, there will certainly be some free space in other areas of away section.
- Smoking is prohibited throughout the entire stadium.
- Only non-alcoholic beer is served in the stadium.
- Food and drinks (only opened bottles or cans) can be taken to the stand.
- No alcoholic beverages will be served.
- Card and cash are the only payment options inside the stadium.
- After the game, away fans will be kept in the away section for about 40 minutes.
- Please note that only a few toilets are available in the away section. If possible, please use the toilets in the entrance area upon arrival at the stadium. Otherwise, the walk from the away section back to the toilets can take a few minutes.
Accessibility information
- Wheelchair parking facilities for fans who are dependent on a wheelchair are located directly next to the away car park.
- This can be accessed via the “Via Federico Tesio”.
Wheelchair users should use Gate 11. From there, volunteers from the home club will accompany you to where you will watch the match.
UEFA Youth League
- The Youth League match will take place at 14:30 CET on Tuesday, 28 November 2023 in the Centro Sportivo Vismara. Please note that the match will be played behind closed doors and therefore no BVB fans are allowed.
