Timo Werner joins Tottenham Hotspur on loan for the remainder of the season

Timo Werner will join Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur on loan for the remainder of the 2023/24 season after the two sides reached an agreement on Tuesday. The 27-year-old has scored two goals and provided one assist in 14 appearances this season. Overall, Werner has netted113 timesand set up a further 47 goals in 213 competitive games for RB Leipzig.

The Stuttgart native has previous experience in the Premier League, having featured in 89 competitive games (23 goals, 21 assists) for Chelsea FC from summer 2020 to 2022.

In order for the striker to see more regular playing time this season, the club have agreed to a loan with Tottenham for the remainder of the season.
