You will always be one of the most important new arrivals that has ever joined our club. You helped Leipzig to be the club they are today. We now have two DFB-Pokals and a Supercup in our trophy cabinet. And it’s thanks to you.

You gave us unique experiences that will stay for us forever. With your own way of playing football. With your goals that you scored in the most important matches time and time again and helped fire us to the pinnacle of the sport.

And above all, with how you are as a person. Respectful. Friendly. Genuine. A number 10 who’s a trailblazer both on and off the pitch. An idol for our fans. A role model for every footballer, both young and old.
