Konrad Laimer leaves RB Leipzig to sign for FC Bayern

Goodbye, Konni!

Konrad Laimer will let his contract expire on 30th June 2023 at RB Leipzig and leave the club this summer after six years here. The 26-year-old will join reigning German champions FC Bayern.

Konni joined RB Leipzig in July 2017 from FC Red Bull Salzburg. He played 190 times in all competitions for the club, scoring 15 goals and setting up 19.

The Austria international (26 caps) celebrated his greatest success by winning the DFB-Pokal twice in a row in 2022 and 2023.

It’s been an honour for the club to have been on this journey together, in which Konni has always given everything for the team. RBL thank him for this great time and many memorable moments.
