Thomas Tuchel deeply disappointed after Bayern Munich draw Hoffenheim at home 1-1

This is now the third stain on Tuchel’s short managerial tenure at Bayern thus far, having already lost to SC Freiburg in the DFB-Pokal and losing 3-0 to Manchester City in the first leg of the Champions League quarter finals. From a sheer optics point of view, the decision to sack Julian Nagelsmann is looking worse and worse from Bayern’s front office and board.

Moukoko nets hat-trick, Sabitzer scores on comeback

The Germany U21s, with Moukoko starting at striker and Karim Adeyemi on the right wing, initially fell behind in the 25th minute of their European Championship qualifier against Bulgaria, but Moukoko promptly scored an equaliser on the 40-minute mark. The second half began with a goal made in Dortmund: Adeyemi played a through ball behind the defence for Moukoko, who reached it on the byline and sent the ball into the centre, where, with the help of the Bulgarian goalkeeper, the ball ended up in the back of the net to give Germany the lead (49). Then, in the 69th minute, Borussia’s number 18 nodded home a cross from former Black & Yellow teammate Ansgar Knauff to complete his hat-trick. The hosts were able to pull one back in injury time to make it 3-2. Germany now lead Group D with six points. The match in Israel, originally scheduled for Tuesday (17 October), has been postponed due to the situation in the country.

Aiming to rise higher than the Bundesliga giants

On Saturday, 9th March, SV Werder Bremen will face off against fourth-place Borussia Dortmund in front of a home crowd at 18:30 CET. In order for the Green-Whites to continue down the path of success they’ve been on after the winter break, they will have to put in a strong defensive performance against the Champions League contenders, who have been impressive on the road as of late.

Thomas Muller shocked by Bayern Munich’s performance against TSG Hoffenheim

The Bavarians were hapless, almost counting down the minutes to the end of the game. There was practically no attacking output and if it weren’t for Benjamin Pavard and his volleys, the team would have walked away empty-handed.
