The home fans turned on the Leicester players after Philip Billing scored the only goal of the game in a 1-0 defeat to the Cherries last Saturday.

How do you assess your performances in the group so far?
“Differently. It’s super that we beat Newcastle twice. A draw against Milan – we could have won that game too. But they also had some dangerous opportunities. And things didn’t go well for us in Paris, although there were opportunities in that game. It’s a good starting position, now it’s down to us.”

The situation in Group F is complicated: Even if BVB were to win at the Centro Sportivo Vismara, the AC Milan youth stadium, on Tuesday (kick-off at 14:30 CET, LIVE on BVB TV) and take over pole position in the group, the team would still not have any guarantee of progression. “Whatever happens, it will go down to the final matchday,” emphasised coach Mike Tullberg.
