  • “We just couldn’t put the ball in the back of the net today. All the fans in the ground watched Leipzig dominate and create a lot of chances. We didn’t make the most of them, however, and that’s why we can only blame ourselves for the result.

We didn’t give them many chances and were the better team on the day. It’s a massive shame that we couldn’t get the three points. That’s just football, though. We’ve got to keep going, since we’ve still got a lot to do.”

  • “It’s obviously a very disappointing result, but we didn’t play too badly today. We tried to maintain a high level of intensity when we were attacking. We looked to get forward on the flanks or down the middle and put a lot of dangerous balls into the box, but our killer instinct was missing.

Frankfurt have a good goalkeeper and we also didn’t have much luck today. We’ll go over the game and will aim to be more clinical in our upcoming matches.“
