DFB-Pokal first round against TUS Bersenbrück to take place on Friday
The DFB confirmed the schedule for the first round of the DFB-Pokal on Wednesday morning. Borussia will travel to Oberliga side TuS Bersenbrück on Friday 11th August (18:00 CEST).
About two weeks ago, pole vaulter Sarah Vogeland and DFB president Bernd Neuendorf completed the draw for the first-round of the cup at the German Football Museum in Dortmund. Today, the DFB have released the schedule for these matches: The Foals will play away against TuS Bersenbrück, who finished fourth in the Oberliga Lower Saxony last season, on Friday 11th August at 18:00 CEST.
The hosts will move to the Stadion an der Bremer Brücke (16,100 capacity) in Osnabrück for the cup match against the Foals.
The first round will be played from 11th to 14th August. The second round will take place on 31st October/1st November and the round of 16 is scheduled for 5th/6th December. The quarter-finals will take place on 30th/31st January and 6th/7th February 2024, while the semi-finals will be played on 2nd and 3rd April 2024. The final is scheduled for 25th May 2024.
