Borussia to face VfL Wolfsburg in the DFB-Pokal round of 16
The Foals will host VfL Wolfsburg in the round of 16 of the cup (5th/6th December). That was the outcome of the draw on Sunday afternoon at the German Football Museum in Dortmund.
BORUSSIA-PARK will be the stage for Borussia’s round of 16 clash against VfL Wolfsburg. ZDF sports pundit and cyclist Denise Schindler drew the eight pairings on Sunday afternoon under the direction of DFB Vice President Peter Frymuth at the German Football Museum in Dortmund.
The round of 16 ties will take place on Tuesday, 5th December and Wednesday, 6th December. The exact dates are usually announced a few days after the draw.
The Foals kicked off their cup campaign with a 7-0 win over fifth-division side TuS Bersenbrück and then beat 1. FC Heidenheim 3-1 in the second round. Mönchengladbach will first play VfL Wolfsburg in the league on Friday evening (20:30 CET), before the cup tie in early December.
