Füllkrug played every minute of every Werder game in the Bundesliga in January and he also netted three times for the Green-Whites. His first of the year came in the away defeat to Köln and he also scored a brace in the 2-1 win over Wolfsburg at the wohninvest WESERSTADION. Fülle now has the chance to win the Player of the Month award for the third time this season after he picked up the award in September and October.
The winner of the POTM award is decided by the fans (40% of the vote share), a panel of experts (30%) and the team captains of the 18 Bundesliga clubs (30%).
As well as Füllkurg, Danilo Doekhi (FC Union), Christopher Trimmel (FC Union), Nico Schlotterbeck (BVB), Julian Brandt (BVB) and André Silva (RB Leipzig) have also been nominated.
