In preparation for the 2024/25 season, 1. FC Union Berlin have announced the two captains and the team council for their women’s team. They include both old and new faces.
Captains
Göz Atın
Lisa Heiseler will continue to lead the first team squad as captain for the coming season in what will be the midfielder’s third year wearing the armband. As in the previous season, Dina Orschmann will remain as her number two.
Team council
In addition to the two captains, Athanasia Moraitou was re-elected to the team council, joined by new additions Anna Weiß and newcomer Cara Bösl. The five will represent the entire team in internal team matters, organise events and act as a point of contact for coaches, management and the executive committee.
