Union Striker Zita Rurack will be temporarily unavailable for Union’s women’s professional team, after the 19-year-old suffered an ankle injury in the 13-0 home win over recently promoted Berolina Mitte. She slipped on a direct free kick in the final minute and had to leave the field early.
The strong attacking presense has played in all of Union’s six league matches so far, scoring two goals and setting up four others in 213 minutes of play. Rurack’s four assists all came in the last league match before she was substituted in the 2nd half.
