Union take on Dynamo Kiev in Austria

1. FC Union Berlin’s first-of-two matches in the Austrian training camp sees them play Dynamo Kiev on Friday 23 July (17:00 Kick Off) in Tirol.

Just 1,500 fans are allowed to attend the match in line with local coronavirus regulations. Supporters who wish to attend must provide a negative test, proof of fully-vaccinated status or having recovered from coronavirus. The match will be shown live on Sport1.

Double header

After beating Viktoria Berlin (5-2) and Dynamo Dresden (3-0), 1. FC Union Berlin will test themselves against Champions League opposition. Dynamo Kiev won the Ukrainian league championship last season, ending a run of dominance of Shakhtar Donestk. Coach Mircea Lucescu will be getting his side ready for the group stages of the Champions League following Dynamo Kiev’s 16 league title – the most in Ukraine.

Urs Fischer’s side will rest up for another 24 hours before meeting Nice on Saturday at 16:00.
