The DFL have published the schedule for the upcoming 2023/24 Bundesliga today, Friday 30 June 2023. 1. FC Union Berlin’s season will kick off at home, hosting 1. FSV Mainz 05 at the Stadion an der Alten Försterei.

Union will then travel to play SV Darmstadt 98 before RasenBallsport Leipzig come to Köpenick the following weekend.

The season will end with a home game against SC Freiburg, also at the Alte Försterei.

“It’s nice to start at home against Mainz 05,” commented Union’s director of professional football, Oliver Ruhnert on the fixtures. “Then, to go a promoted team in Darmstadt on the second matchday, followed by a home game against Leipzig, makes for three tough and intense games where we will be challenged from the start. Nevertheless, we are delighted to be playing at home on the first and last games of the season.”

The complete match schedule can be found on the DFL website. The exact dates and kick off times for match days one to eight is planned to be announced around 10-14 July.
