On Saturday, 27 July 2024, 1. FC Union Berlin will play the first test match of the Bundesliga preparation at home against Rangers.
Union is adjusting the prices for food and drinks at the start of the new season. The reason for this is not only the increasing costs of goods and energy but also the rise in personnel costs.
After several years without any significant price adjustments, for the first test match half a liter of beer, for example, will cost €5, soft drinks €4 and water €3. A sausage will cost 4 euros and a steak 4.50 euros.
Union is also introducing new reusable cups for the season. The advantage: the new cups can also be transported in larger quantities and a cardboard carrier is no longer required. The deposit on the cups will increase from 1 euro to 2 euros.
