Leonidas Stergiou and the Swiss national team picked up another point at EURO 2024 with a 1-1 draw against Scotland on Wednesday night. The VfB defender made his second EURO appearance as an 86th-minute substitute. The goals in Cologne were scored by Scott McTominay for Scotland (13’) and Xherdan Shaqiri for Switzerland (26’).
