A total of 14 VfB players will join their respective national teams in the upcoming international break. Alex Nübel, Maxi Mittelstädt, Angelo Stiller, Chris Führich, Deniz Undav and Jamie Leweling have all been selected for Germany, who will face Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Netherlands in the UEFA Nations League.
Leweling was called up for the first time after Bayern Munich’s Jamal Musiala withdrew from the squad due to injury.

Vincenzo Montella, head coach of the Turkish national team, announced his squad for the two upcoming Nations League matches on Friday, with Karazor included for the first time.
The VfB captain and Türkiye will face Montenegro on Friday 11 October (20:45 CEST) and Iceland on Monday 14 October (20:45 CEST).
