VfB visit Preußen Münster in the opening round of the 2024/25 cup competition. Following the draw at the start of the month, the exact schedule has now been confirmed. The meeting with the promoted second-tier club will take place on Tuesday 27 August at 20:45 CEST.
The rest of the first-round ties are due to be played from 16 to 19 August, but VfB and Bayer 04 Leverkusen meet in the Supercup that weekend. That match kicks off at 20:30 CEST on Saturday 17 August.
