Luca Pfeiffer joined VfB in 2022 from FC Midtjylland and has since gone on to make 24 appearances for the club. The 28-year-old, who hails from Bad Mergentheim just north of Stuttgart, has two goals to his name for VfB, both in the DFB Cup.
Last season, Pfeiffer went out on loan to SV Darmstadt 98, playing 24 matches in the Bundesliga and scoring one goal.

“The main thing for Luca at the moment is getting as much playing time as possible,” said board member for sport Fabian Wohlgemuth. “With the competition that we have in the squad, this is something that we can’t guarantee him, and as such, the loan to Karlsruhe is a really good solution. We wish him all the best.”
