The fates have pitted VfB against last season’s finalists 1. FC Kaiserslautern in the second round of the DFB Cup, with the tie to be played in the MHP Arena.
“We’re delighted to get a home draw,” said board member for sport Fabian Wohlgemuth. “But we’re going to need to put in a good performance if we’re going to make it through to the next round.”
