France in Olympic final

The French team have reached the final of their home Olympics. Thierry Henry’s side beat Egypt 3-1 after extra time in the semi-final in Lyon.

VfB’s Enzo Millot didn’t feature in the semi-final success after being sent off in the aftermath of the quarter-final against Argentina (1-0).

France now face Spain in the final at the Parc des Princes in Paris on Friday (kick-off 18:00 CEST), with at least a silver medal already secure.
