The first five matchdays of the 2024/25 Bundesliga season have been finalised. VfB kick off the season with the Baden-Württemberg derby in Freiburg on Saturday 24 August at 15:30*.
VfB’s first home game takes place a week later on Saturday 31 August against 1. FSV Mainz 05, also at 15:30. The away fixtures at Borussia Mönchengladbach (14 September) and VfL Wolfsburg (28 September) are also scheduled for Saturday afternoons, with only the home meeting with Borussia Dortmund in between that taking place on a Sunday (22 September at 17:30).
