On Sunday, 23 June, the Scottish national team will play against Hungary in Stuttgart. The Scottish national fan team usually plays against the fan teams of the opposing association. However, the Hungarian association does not have such a team and so the Scottish fans approached VfB Stuttgart.
The Schlierbachpower fan club, which won the official VfB Stuttgart fan club championship last year, will now represent the club in the fan match against the Scottish national fan team. Kick-off at the Fasanenwald sports facility of TSV Weilimdorf (Giebelstraße 66, 70499 Stuttgart) is on 23 June 2024 at 12 noon.
TSV Weilimdorf will be offering catering with typical dishes and alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. The Greek clubhouse will be open and will be showing the European Championship matches. VfB Stuttgart itself will also be represented at the Fan Match with a small surprise and is looking forward to the exchange between VfB fans and the Scots. The Scottish representatives have already announced that the main focus will be on socialising and getting to know each other. There is no admission charge.
Travel tip: From Stuttgart main station:
Take the U6 in the direction of Gerlingen to the Giebel stop (about a 20-minute journey), from there follow Rappachstraße on foot for 5-10 minutes. The club premises are then on the right-hand side.
