VfB forward Deniz Undav has been crowned as the Bundesliga’s Player of the Month for January, fending off competition from fellow nominees Alejandro Grimaldo, Piero Hincapié (both Bayer 04 Leverkusen), Jamal Musiala (Bayern Munich), Niclas Füllkrug (Borussia Dortmund) and Niels Nkounkou (Eintracht Frankfurt). Our No.26 previously took the Player of the Month honour in November 2023.
“I’m delighted to have been voted as Player of the Month again,” said Undav. “The trophy doesn’t just belong to me, though. It’s just a lot of fun to play and perform with the boys week in, week out. We need to continue what we’re doing and not let up. I’m looking forward to what’s coming.”
