The kick-off times for the Champions League matchdays in the league stage have been published, with VfB starting on 17 September away to Real Madrid.
The first home game for the Cannstatt boys will be on 1 October against Sparta Prague, kicking off at 18:45 CEST. That’s followed by a trip to Turin to face Juventus (22 October) and a home game against Atalanta (6 November). Sebastian Hoeneß’s team will play the last two matches of the calendar year away to Red Star Belgrade (27 November) and against Young Boys Bern (11 December).
In the new year, VfB will head to Slovan Bratislava on 21 January before finishing the league stage of the Champions League on 29 January 2025 at home to Paris Saint-Germain.
VfB U19s’ opponents and kick-off times for the UEFA Youth League have also been decided, with Nico Willig’s side facing their counterparts from the first six of the seniors’ opponents. The matches will be played on the afternoon of the respective first-team matchday, and VfB’s Youth League home games will be played at the GAZi-Stadion auf der Waldau.
