Xavi’s opener in the 3-0 win over Union Berlin has been named September’s Bundesliga Goal of the Month by the DFL!
Benjamin Henrichs got things going in the 51st minute when he gave the ball to Xavi on the edge of the box. The Dutchman then sensationally curled it into the top corner from around 16 yards out to make it 1-0. The goal proved to be decisive in our 3-0 victory over Union and was a strike worthy of being named “Goal of the Month”.

Xavi is the RBL player with the most goal involvements this season, having scored three goals and assisting four more in seven Bundesliga games. He was particularly impressive in September and has been nominated for the Bundesliga “Rookie of the Month” award for the second time this season as a result.
