At the end of every season, different fan communities, news outlets and journalists decide on their teams of the season.
In Josko Gvardiol, Dominik Szoboszlai and Christo Nkunku, three RBL players have made their way into different best XIs.
Josko Gvardiol
Our centre back had a fantastic season, recording a pass completion rate of 91% and delivering consistent performances.
Josko was voted into the best XI of the Vereinigung der Vertragsspieler (German football players’ assosciation), which takes into account performances of players across the top four tiers of German football and is voted by fellow players. Additionally, he also made the best XIs of sports websites transfermarkt.de and SPOX.

Dominik Szoboszlai
With 13 goals and 10 assists in all competitions, Szobo enjoyed a successful season. He also led the team in chances created, with 72. His 63 shots saw the 22-year-old rank third in the league for shots on goal.
In doing so, the forward registered enough points to make the Bundesliga Fantasy Manager Best XI of the season.

Christopher Nkunku
Christopher Nkunku’s season is even more impressive when his significant spell on the sidelines due to injury is taken into consideration. The forward recorded 32 goal involvements in 36 games in all competitions and led his team to Champions League qualification while picking up the league’s top goalscorer award, joint with Niclas Füllkrug. He also topped the team for shots this season.
In addition to a place in Bundesliga Fantasy Manager’s top XI, Christo was also named in 90min, Kölner Express and transfermarkt.de‘s teams of the Bundesliga season.
