Castello Jr. on …
… the game in Heidenheim
- “It’s a very important game for us. The Bundesliga is drawing to a close, there are only five games left. We have to win in Heidenheim – and also the games that follow. We have a clear goal, for that we need victories.
“We know that no easy task awaits us this weekend. Heidenheim are playing a very good season as a promoted team and are strong at home. Most recently they were able to beat Bayern at their stadium. We have to stay focused and throw everything into Saturday if we want to get an away win.”
… RBL’s form
- “We’re unbeaten in seven competitive games and have won five of them. We appear united as a team and are very stable defensively. We kept a clean sheet in each of our last four home games. This is very important for us as a team.”

Castello Jr. on …
… partner Willi Orban
- “Willi and I get along well on and off the pitch. He’s our captain and a very experienced player. I can learn a lot from him. Willi knows the club and the Bundesliga very well. He always gives me tips and always has an open ear for us younger players. In addition, as a slightly younger defender, it gives me stability to have someone like Willi at my side. It’s great to play alongside him.”
… the Bundesliga in comparison to Ligue 1
- “The pace in the Bundesliga’s very high. What’s striking is that the teams in Germany want to score all the goals. There are no teams that limit themselves solely to their defence. Lots of goals are scored in the games, it’s fun – for the fans and us players. Ligue 1 and the Bundesliga are both at a high level.”
