RB Leipzig strengthened our squad with Antonio Nusa (19). The attacking player signed a long-term contract with us until 2029. We look forward to our journey together with you, Antonio!
This is how the Norwegian’s first day in Leipzig went.
Medical examination
- After Antonio’s arrival in Leipzig, the first stop was his medical test. Our new signing was checked from head to toes. The result: Successfully cleared!
Contract signing
- One of the most exciting parts of the first day at a new club is definitely the signing of the contract. The ink dried quickly in the meeting with Marcel Schäfer (Sports Managing Director) and Rouven Schröder (Sports Director).
Changing clothes and going on a tour

- Our new home jersey from PUMA looks great! Antonio is now also equipped with the rest of his training clothes from PUMA.
Afterwards, the Norwegian international was given a tour of our training center for initial orientation in his new footballing home.
A new Red Bull
- Accompanied by Marcel Schäfer and Rouven Schröder, Antonio met his first new teammates. The new player was welcomed with open arms by his new fellow teammates like Kevin Kampl and David Raum.
Leipzig’s new Number 7
- The player’s presentation and squad number reveal cannot go missing on the first day. Antonio has chosen number and thus is in pretty good company among former number 7s.
