Action packed in New York!
The second day of our US Tour had plenty to offer: Training, Forsberg’s visit, RBL spending time at Central Park, and plenty more.
Here’s a review of what went on during Monday in New York.
The US Tour: Day 2
Monday’s first training session
The first training session on American soil took place this Monday at 9:30AM local time.
Our head coachMarco Rosekicked off the first training session in the New York Red Bulls‘ training grounds in front of the RB Leipzig fans that travelled along the team. Additionally, Marco spoke about the tour, the squad, and plenty more. “It’s a privilege to be here.”
RBL Legends
But before things got started, plenty of smiling faces were spotted around the training pitch. Emil Forsberg couldn’t resist and had to pay us a visit during the first training session.
Sadly, he couldn’t have a kick with his former teammates, since this RBL legend is currently recovering from a foot injury.
Central Park and the Red Bull Arena
The afternoon was packed with activities for our players. Lois Openda, Eljif Elmas or Amadou Haidara were to be seen performing different challenges in New York’s Red Bull Arena.
Also, Lukas Klostermann, Peter Gulacsi and Kevin Kampl could be spotted in Central Park. You can find more on this on our social media channels on Instagram, X, and Facebook.
The evening was reserved for the “Players’ Night” and some time on one of New York’s rooftops.
