‘Tired’ Man Utd target Kane ‘can’t take it anymore’ as he weighs up ‘transfer request’ to force Spurs exit

Man Utd target Harry Kane is thinking about handing in a ‘transfer request’ in order to force a move from Tottenham to Real Madrid, according to reports.

The England captain scored another 30 Premier League goals this campaign in 38 appearances with Kane now 48 goals away from breaking Alan Shearer’s all-time Premier League goalscoring record of 260.

That is why most pundits are tipping him to remain in England at Tottenham or at Man Utd if he decides to leave north London this summer.

with the Red Devils looking to permanently replace Cristiano Ronaldo, who left in November after a controversial interview with Piers Morgan.

Wout Weghorst came in during the January transfer window as a temporary reinforcement .

But Real Madrid have now emerged as a serious threat to their chances of landing Kane with widespread reports claiming the La Liga giants have made him a target after Karim Benzema left the club over the weekend.

that Chelsea forward Kai Havertz has ‘disappeared’ from Carlo Ancelotti’s wishlist and that ‘operation Kane’ is now ‘underway’.

They even claimed that Kane has ‘given his OK’ to the transfer with Real Madrid hopeful they can strike a deal for around €80m (£69m) despite Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy being a notoriously ‘complicated’ negotiator.

And now another Spanish newspaper, Nacional, has built on that report by claiming that Kane – who has one year left on his contract at Spurs – ‘does not plan to continue’ at Tottenham is considering an official ‘transfer request’.

Kane is yet to win a trophy in his career and the Tottenham academy graduate ‘can’t take it anymore’ and ‘has grown tired of waiting for the promised winning project’.

The 29-year-old wants to avoid his transfer saga becoming ‘one of the soap operas on the market’ and that is why he is considering a ‘formal request for sale’.

Real Madrid president is said to be ‘confident that Kane will become Karim Benzema’s replacement’ but Nacional are predicting ‘a long summer’.

But Pedro Porro – who signed for Tottenham from Sporting Lisbon in January – has bizarrely claimed that the Spurs squad would potentially be “more” happy than Kane if the England captain decides to join Real Madrid.

Porro told reporters: “If Kane decides to go to Real Madrid we’ll be as happy as he is or more.”
