Insider sources claim Man Utd target Kane has ‘already decided to leave’ Tottenham

Harry Kane will leave Tottenham this summer amid strong interest from Manchester United and Real Madrid, according to reports.

The England international’s future has dominated talk around Spurs for much of the season with Kane about to enter the final year of his contract at the north London club.

as they continue to search for a permanent replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo, who left at the end of November following a controversial interview with Piers Morgan.

They brought in Wout Weghorst on a loan until the end of the season in January but now .

It could be tricky for the Red Devils to get a deal over the line, though, with Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy reportedly keen to sell abroad rather than to a Premier League rival.

this summer with previous claims the England international wants to stay in England to break Alan Shearer’s all-time Premier League goalscoring record.

And now Spanish publication AS claims that Kane has become a ‘favourite’ target for La Liga giants Real Madrid this summer.

Benfica’s Goncalo Ramos and Juventus’ Dusan Vlahovic are also understood to be on their shortlist with Los Blancos aiming to go big in 2024 by signing either Kylian Mbappe or Erling Haaland.

Real Madrid are in a good position to buy Kane from Levy’s perspective with it now clear the Premier League club would ‘prefer to sell’ to a foreign side.

And AS adds that sources in Kane’s ‘entourage’ have told the newspaper that the Tottenham striker has ‘already decided to leave’ this summer.

Gary Neville thinks Tottenham will have to “swallow the fact” Kane could leave on a free transfer next summer if they want to attract a big-name manager.

Neville told Sky Sports in April: “When you think about this season for Spurs, and how it’s going to end, I don’t think Tottenham can let Harry Kane go in the summer.

“They are going to have to let him wind down his contract. They will need to build around him next season with a new manager.

“They may just have to swallow the fact that they’re not going to get a fee for him or try to encourage him to stay during that season.

“The new manager that comes in is going to want to keep the pair of Kane and Son Heung-min together.”
